Fierce Older Lesbians Founder and Curator

I am in my early sixties, and live on the edge of Sussex farmland with my partner – now wife – of thirty years.

I’ve had a varied career in academia, women’s refuges and LGBTQ+ activism; and was a therapist for many years.

As I approached my sixtieth birthday, I hunted for images of older lesbians who were fierce, powerful, creative, loving and uncompromising.  I didn’t want to become invisible, and I needed a virtual tribe.

So I created Fierce Older Lesbians…
